Andruw Jones Arrested In Gwinnett

This isn’t usually a Capitol Avenue Club type story, but I came across this and have not seen it reported yet.
At about 3:50am, Andruw Jones was arrested in Gwinnett for battery.

The details of the story have been released and can be found here at ESPN. It was a domestic dispute that apparently involved Andruw dragging his wife down the stairs while intoxicated. Crazy stuff.

This isn’t a story. It’s a headline! How about ome details. Was it at his home or somewhere else? Who did he assault? Was alcohol involved? Details!
Police aren’t particularly forthcoming with those sorts of details to bloggers, perhaps fortunately.

It is sad that he was arrested and I hope that no one was hurt. Still, nice work Ben. Seems you scooped some people who do this type of reporting for a living.
This after seeing him going to Japan to play baseball. It’s hard to see once-beloved players come down like this at the end of their careers

As for Andruw himself…what a shame. He seemed to have it all going for him 7-8 years ago but he’s taken a precipitous fall, even though it seemed like he was leveling off in his role with the Yankees.
Andruw made A LOT of money over the years. Hate he’s only gonna keep half of it after this.
I am wondering if this will mess up his chances of playing in the Japan League?
